127- How to put on performances with your students this school year

Are you wanting to do performances or programs with your students, but it seems a bit "tricky" this school year? In this episode, I'll share some simple ideas to still have amazing performances with your students and to help you think outside the box a bit.

These are several ideas mentioned in the episode you can share with the other students, teachers, and families:

  • Record the kids singing without their faces and put under a slideshow
  • Record what students are doing in class (similar to an informance)
  • Record different classes of the same grade level singing different verses and the same chorus
  • Do a performance of just instruments, body percussion, or movement
  • Have students choose a body percussion, singing, movement, or playing an instrument on top of the track you give them
  • Add individual student submissions to Google Classroom (or whatever else you use) so other students can see it
  • Record yourself singing on top of the track and send that to students to practice with

Listen to the episode where I break down each one of these ideas in detail.
